Here at Hawden, Energy Assessment has never been considered as a separate operation but rather part of the overall engineering process. That’s why our energy assessment stays within the business and our own assessors, both residential and commercial, are also MEP engineers.

Our insistence upon this method provides a more joined up thinking with the assessor considering the overall suitability of the installation as well as the requirements to pass Building Regulations. This is extended to others through collaboration within the engineering department, and wider professional team, and also by further Low Carbon Consultant training and certification.

Energy assessment is at the heart of what we do, from the smallest dwelling to the largest commercial scheme, all the while being considered for the benefit of the user and with the budget of our Clients foremost in our minds.
