This site, located within the heart of the seaside town of Margate, aimed to regenerate a historic precedent, having previously been a tourist attraction from 1860 to 2004, when it was closed. The new scheme provides a revitalised view of the original attraction whilst also answering the local demand for community facilities and has been jointly funded by the BIG Lottery and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
